The Dolphin and Turtle Safe label refers to any canned seafood product, such as tuna, that was ascertained from the ocean without killing or harming any dolphins or turtles during the capture process. The United States Department of Commerce labeled this as such to show that companies are taking the care to be environmentally safe.
