Microwave tags are made diode that is paired to a microwave and an electrostatic antenna. These are a permanent tag. Typically, these tags are found used in larger retail clothing stores. The alarm is triggered when the low frequency field produced by one antenna and the microwave field from the other antenna are mixed.
