Much like magnetic systems, this technology uses detectors that emit rounds of frequency that will cause the amorphous metal in the tag to vibrate. The vibration is what will trigger the detector to casue alarm as it will cause a change in the magnetization in the strip that induces an AC voltage in the detector.
