Software as a Service, or SaaS, is a model of software deployment whereby a solutions provider, such as SafeSourcing, licenses an application to customers for use in a hosted or on demand environment. SaaS software vendors may host the application on their own web based servers that of an ASP (Application Service Provider) or customers may host the application on their servers. The tool is normally disconnected when the current license agreement expires, if it is not renewed.
